I was trained in Chung do Kwan Taekwondo for 22 years by Grand Master Choi Duk Kyu (8th Dan Kukkiwon) at the Pangrati Taekwondo Athletic Club in Athens. Our school was founded in 1970, before the World Taekwondo Federation was established in 1973. It was the first World Taekwondo Federation School in Greece and among the first in the world. Among those who have taught at the school are Korean trainers Chang Jin Kang (9th Dan), Choi Chong Lim (7th Dan) and Choi Duk Kyu (8th Dan).
As the first non-Korean trainer at the school, I taught more than 500 people of all ages, both amateurs and professionals, over a period of 20 years, combining knowledge of Chung do Kwan Taekwondo and Muay Thai, Kick boxing, Judo and modern coaching science. Nowadays, I teach small groups and individuals.
As a result of my research into the history of fighting, I wrote the book
”Pankration in Ancient Greece”
